What kind of wax do you use for your candle products?
We only use 100% soy wax for all of our candle products. Our wax is sourced from other Canadian owned and operated businesses, and is sustainably sourced.
What kind of oils do you use to fragrance your candles and scented products?
We only use the highest quality of fragrance oils (known as 'clean scents') for all of our products. This means that there are no phthalates, parabens, carcinogens, or organ toxins in our fragrances. Our fragrances are not tested on animals.
Do you test your products?
Yes, all of Moth & Flame's candles and scented products are personally tested by the creator/owner prior to being added to the product line. Things that we look for are flame height, wax pool, longevity of the product, hot and cold throw, wick size, overall fragrance, heat of the container and more! This ensures that you receive a product that is safe and smells amazing!
Do you offer order customization or private label?
We are currently accepting custom orders which are approved on a case by case basis. I only accept orders that I feel I can create the vision they are looking for, as well as meeting any budget or time constraints. This is to ensure that when we commit to an order, you LOVE the outcome. If you are looking for a custom order, you can fill out our "Contact Us" form.
Where are you currently shipping?
We currently ship anywhere in Canada. We also have the option of local delivery in Ottawa West at a reduced cost, and local pickup for free.
Do you attend local markets?
We book markets throughout the year in a variety of locations. Some of the cities and locations include Carleton Place, Smiths Falls, Ottawa, Kemptville, and Rockland. You can find where we will be on our Instagram (post made the week of each event we will be at).
Are your products available in stores?
We are not currently selling in any storefronts. However, we are looking into this option for 2025/2026. If you own or operate a local store, we would love to hear from you if you are interested in carrying our products!
