The Story of Moth & Flame

Moth & Flame Candle Co. was created out of love, resilience, and a desire for meaningful connection. At just four months postpartum with my son, I realized I wanted to spend as much time at home with him as possible. Working from home became the perfect solution, and from this life-changing chapter, Moth & Flame was born.

This business is also deeply personal - a tribute to my journey of overcoming C-PTSD after years of fighting for myself. It stands as a testament to strength, healing, and the light found on the other side of struggle.

With nearly 15 years of experience in customer service and management, and a Criminology and Criminal Justice Honours Bachelor's degree from Carleton University, I bring a blend of professionalism and passion to every aspect of my work.

Moth & Flame is more than just candles: it's about creating beautiful, minimalist products crafted with care and intention. Each candle is made with sustainably sourced soy wax and free from parabens, phthalates, and carcinogens. Every product is meticulously tested for safety and quality, so you can feel confident in what you're bringing into your home.
